I find is a little odd the OP hasn't responded to any posts? Surely he must of known this would sell easily!!

Unless his membership has crashed with all the PM's

I think you just find most things 'odd'. I'm surprised that you aren't 'a little skeptical' this time.

I did know that this would sell and at the time I was travelling back home from work and was going to upload pics later.

It seems a little odd that you don't sit on the computer looking up Z4 parts on eBay all day. That's apparently what we all do....

Congratulation on the sale.

nice to see somebody selling an item at sensible money and not holding out for top top dollar. definately a bit cheap but life aint all about money hey? and op happy as new bonnet project on the way. you have made the successful bidder a very happy geezer and probably a couple of dozen others very frustrated !!!

£350 is the most expensive amount paid for two lines that I've ever seen. I hope it's very high quality

i havnt been here that long i know, but i thought that was the rules/etiquette if you were the 1st person to comment agreeing asking price or best offer then you got it.... ??

In theory, yes. But in practice with highly sought after/rare parts this is hardly ever observed. I know this having been a buyer who's missed out, and a seller who's received higher offers on the hush for items.

The sellar if he had morals should have offered it to the first responder for the higher price to see if he would match it.You never know what happens in transit,it could end up with more than two extra lines :fuelfire:

Hold on, people seem to be assuming that the OP has sold the bonnet for a higher price in some sort of shady deal - there's no indication of this

Collection preferred but can courier as I have decent packaging for it.

Couldn't find a price on the forum to base it off, so want £320 for it.
i.e. £320 if collected

Then said:
Bonnet is now sold for £350 including P&P.
So it sold for £350 inc P&P - that'd be £320 for the bonnet plus £30 for the courier

Sounds about right to me!

Let's not forget, Jonny Essex is going to pay about £1500 for the same two lines....

Me too which is why I was semi hopeful of getting a new bonnet. I'll have to act like more of a t**t in future.

A comment is not an offer to buy - all that was asked for was the location. The first offer, independent of any requirements, was from NeilMick. So I'd guess it went to him ? If it didn't, then someone could've PM'd an offer immediately... Which, if we're being picky, is also against forum rules as I am sure they state that all negotiation should take place on the thread. Which rarely happens except when someone says "I'll take it at the asking price"... Which they did.

I'm more interested in how royally Jony's wallet is being raped - again :D

I didn't get it, which I was surprised at, considering the trading rules, so who did?

"All discussions including offers, acceptances and refusals should be shown clearly in the thread (not by email or PM). Once a deal is agreed you may use whatever form of external communication you like to finalise payment details etc. We insist on this rule because we need to see all the negotiations to be able to mediate a solution to a dispute"

I guess i should have said,

"Ill take it, where are you based for collection"

I was waiting for a im in xxxxxxx

To which I would have replied thanks thats great ill take it collected!

Never mind, it looks like even the first person to say ill take it didn't get it either, so I’m guessing some bad forum etiquette play has come in to play which is a shame!

You win some you loose some, maybe we should start selling things for best offers to give everyone a fair shout!
