Appreciate the invite and would love to come out and play. We fly back from our cruise and arrive in San Diego at 9:30 pm on the 5th. Another weekend for me!

Hopefully that will be the occasion for the official presentation of the supercharger... Mary and I will come, but we'll then head to Solvang at some point of the day... Talking about driving...

Talked to Kathy tonight. We will be there and I am really thinking about being that "Sponsor" :D

You know, Dirtiest car, cleanest car, car with most miles, car with most scrapes, dings, dents, most states visited, most HC's attended...lets see, what else can I win for?? :poke: 8) :D :) :?

Oh yea, I forgot....the Coolest car as well. :driving: :driving:

Thanks for the invite, IMZFN.
Count us in. Too bad this trip landed on the 6th though, I'll have to miss the autox that was scheduled that day. But it should be worth it!

I was thinking of staying on the pavement this time! Less clean up.

There is an SD autocross on this day :/

"Hello Autocrossers:

Our last autocross of the year is coming up in the West Lot in three weeks on Saturday, December 6th. (Note that Fahren Affairs mistakenly lists the day as a Sunday; the 6th is Saturday). Since Daylight Savings Time has ended, we have to limit entries to the first 90 cars (80 BMW/MINIs and 10 non-BMWs). We’ll have our pits in the back as usual so we can park under the Trolley bridge. Andre Pantic is designing a nice, long course in the West Lot for another great event. Even if it’s a wet day, the show goes on (and it gives us a chance to learn even more and have lots of fun!). In anticipation of the Season and the potential weather, it’s called the “Yule Slide” Autocross.

This is your reminder that online registration will open at 12:01 am this Saturday, November 15th, which is another way of saying late Friday night… Click on http://sdbmwcca.motorsportreg.com to reserve your spot online in advance of the event. The entry fee is $60 and includes breakfast items, cold beverages, and lunch for all participants. We’ll reserve 10 online openings for the first non-BMWs, and again, we’re limited to a total registration of 90 drivers.

Another reminder: when you register online, you STILL need to show up before 7:30 to claim your spot. We have plenty of people who arrive on the event day hoping to get in, and to maximize driver openings, we may offer them your spot if you’re a no-show at 7:30. Late arrivals swamp our Tech and Registration volunteers all at the same time and hold up our 8:30 Driver’s Meeting, so please help us out and arrive before 7:30. As noted in the November/December Fahren Affairs, we want to build up our Team of Autocross volunteers, so if you are interested in helping us on a consistent basis, please let me know.

See you at Qualcomm!

Dan Tackett
Autocross Director"
