SoCalz's - December 1st - 2nd Annual Desert Run

Now what the heck can we bring? We are coming down Friday and I don't know what to bring. Of course, I am glad that you didn't wait till the very last minute to tell us this. I don't remember reading about the pot-luck BBQ before now. :o
So, we will see you at Von's or whatever store it is on Saturday. :driving:
 
Don't worry if you can't bring anything. Most things that could be brought risk going bad if left in the car for the day anyway.

But, if you can bring something that keeps, that would be great!

All we really need is your presence. :)

Not sure what I'm bringing to eat either...
I do have about 15 medium sized orange cones...not sure if food, cones and my wifes overnight luggage will all fit in the trunk though... :roll:

That was the same issue I was having. Dew'sz4 said she would pick up a few more of the small ones ( so there will be no bumper damage ) and use the larger ones for the start line and a finish box and 180 deg u turn.

Ok, I'm too stupid to figure out how to draw this. I'm working on it.( insert pic here.)

Start and go aound the first cone and continue the slalom, enter the u-turn on the right and exit on the left, starting the slalom by going around the first cone and ending with the car in the finish box. Two seconds will be added to the time for every cone hit and two seconds for not stopping in the box.
 
Hey guys!! It looks I can make it after all but it has to be later in the day. How and where can I catchup with you guys? .. maybe around 2 or 3pm.

Ah, I didn't know Von's was a grocery store. Yeah i'll grab something from there. Whether it's a bag o chips (or beer :? ) Or some more meat to throw on the BBQ. I'll grab a little something. I'd feel bad if I used my friends kitchen/fridge. Granted I am making him and his fiance a meal in repayment for letting me stay.
 
I thought BMW installed the girlfriend 1.0 option when you buy a Z4 unless you had installed a wife 1.0 already before trading in the OPEL.
 
oh cheesh, now we are opening up a can of worms here .... maybe there will be some DIY (do it youself) mods that can upgrade/enhance the 1.0 model ... with diagrams and pictures :rofl:
 
Anybody remember the movie "Airplane" ? Auto Pilot???? but in female version. Hmm, wonder where the nozzle/s would be?? :rofl: :thumbsup:
