So where is your car now? Are they still joyriding around in it. I swear I saw it in Newport Beach this weekend. :fuelfire:

Car is still at Phil Thearles, scheduled to pick it up today. Better not be anyone joyriding in my car without ME IN IT! :D

Car is back , how do I download pics, perhaps add one to my names, there on the left like others have done.

gave up on downloading, can't get reduced enough. I am NOT good at all with graphic stuff, I just take some incredible pictures and leave it to someone else to put them all together. I do download them to snapfish. I am not totally technology challenged, only  partially!

If one of these fine gentlemen can't help you today I will PM you through it tonight  I know we all want to see some pics

You can always send me one pic that you want to use and I will be more than happy to size it for you and send it back for you to host.

Glad to see you got Roadcar back. What did Roadcar think about you driving a rental ?

Roadcar understood why she could not be out and run and play, but then neirther could I! She is more than making up for it now and yearns and I do mean is screaming in the garage for the Big Bear run. They clay'd her and I swear I have never seen this car that shinny before. Roadcar has a totally new front end! The paint is exquisite! They finally finxed the passenger door problem I have put up with for about 4 years. The dealers all told me the door was fine. However had any of them taken it apart they would have seen somethings were not installed properly (during dealer working on car previously) causing noise and a horrible sound when closing the door. I am smiling again!!!!!!!! :D

Well, tomorrow should be a nice day to clean my car to a T for our run .... you know, like a pre-clean before the run? IMZ4N does pre-runs, so I thought I'd do a pre-clean .....

I see we're up to 12 cars - that should mean there will be at least 10 ... excellent crowd! I'm looking to seeing eberyone, and perhaps someone can show me where my oil dipstick is in my 06 ....

A pre clean

Pre clean = mobil detailer not available on requested date. :poke:

Oh, btw... We're probably not gonna make it with the Z3... It's undergoing butt surgery and the rear subframe had to come off... She's getting some urethane in there...

Yea, I know... But I doubt I'll be able to have everything back togetter by the 18th... We'll see how it goes next weekend.

Sounds like quite an undertaking. Hope you have some help lined up. I saw the thread on the San Diego group board and what Dan had to say about it. Hope it turns out the way you want it to.

LOL, Dan... Nice guy... Thanks goodness he reminded me to drop the muffler before trying to drop the subframe... :P

I'm a bull headed and I'm gonna do it my way... eheheh

Today I found a Racing Dynamics kit (spring & shocks) that might fit my Z3 for less than $400 (on sale from the $1,200 original) gonna check out their warehouse tomorrow... This might be the time of a complete suspension makeover for the Z3... After that I will have to add some urethane in the front, camber plates in the front (if needed) and some sway bars... Then my 1.9 will keep up with your 3.0 going up Mulholland.. ehehehe... yea right, I wish...

This weekend I'm gonna take my subframe in to have the rear to & camber plates welded on (so I can ger rid of some of the excessive rear camber I'll get when I drop it). Hopefully tonight I'll get the driveshaft off so I can take it in tomorrow mornign to get the u-joins replaced before the completely seize (I gotta go to Lowe's and pick up a 18mm wrench)

Tomorrow I'm gonna call Ireland Engineering and get all my stuff. Still on schedule... But low chances everything will be ready for the 18th... Sorry Roadcar...
