so which coupe owner wants a roadster for the summer?

Connundrum for you haters....

It seems your opinion is that coupes are bought by cool people and roadsters are bought by people who only care what others think about them, and from that we can deduce you think everyone thinks the same thing.
Then surely someone who buys a roadster is confident in their own choices and someone who buys a coupe is the person who is more bothered about what other people think?

I couldnt care less myself, just trying to keep the, er "discussion" light hearted!

:D

Haha, good point :)

Keep the Roadster. The Coupe's are for nancies who worry about their hair blowing around, or ugly people who don't want to be seen :poke:

Thanks :o :poke:

I got the Coupe because i think it looks way nicer than the Roadster. I admit the roadster looks very nice, and is probably the best looking convertible around, but i have never been interested in having a roadster. Partly because i'd only get the top down a few times a year, and mostly because the Coupe just looks awesome, and all other vehicles with the roadster/coupe option look better in the Coupe too.
The only thing i am jealous of you roadster owners for is that you get to hear the roar of the engine with the top down :( :poke:

But whyyy :D

Mine has been down on journeys more than it has been up so far this year!

If it's not raining and isn't freezing, a roof is excess to requirements ;)

I will agree on looks though, the Coupe does look very cool. Just a bit dark and dingey on a lovely sunny day vs the Roadster :)

I have said it before and Here it is again.

The only way I would buy a coupe is if it came in a convertible!!

Agreed! Theres nothing better than looking at a young hottie with her top down :P

There's a brand new black Z4 coupe been sat in my local Sytner (Sutton Coldfield) showroom for months. That has to be worth a haggle. New model in 4 weeks, Summer coming up. what chance of selling at RSP

Every time I go in they try to sell it to me...lol

More a case I think of "buy a roadster, and get a (cheaper) coupe thrown in for free"

Not everybody is fortunate like you to live in a decent climate. Like Lucy, my top down days would be far and few between in Montréal so it made much more sense for me to buy a coupé and the coupé is IMO a better looking car for my taste.

I'll still admit the coupe looks better but I have the hardtop for my roadster and tbh its quite a nice fit, surprisingly it dosent feel like an afterthought either.

All in all its a nice job for the winter and then for what summer we have here in england land to take it off, Ideally Id love one of the new 4's with the folding hard top.

I'm always cold, i'm sat in my office with the heating on high right now even though it's not cold apparently. Think there's something wrong with me  So i'd hardly ever get the top down since we hardly ever have any scorching hot days in England.

It also works if you simply lower the windows a little, ya know. :D

Yeah i guess it does, would just be nice to hear it in surround sound in the roadster though

There's no doubt the Coupe is a stunning looking car and for me probably better looking than the Roadster, but you just can't beat putting the hood down and going for a spirited drive. It never fails to put a smile on my face :D

I can vouch for it sounding awesome with top down driving past a large tall wall or through a tunnel.
Just epic.
