Falling like a stone is not flying :D - sorry know what you mean just sounded funny

I think I would like the rush you all talk about, but I'm 100% sure I haven't the bottle to take that all important step

good luck and I hope you enjoy the experience

I thought the funny bit was not wanting to do the parachuting

I do like to watch the squirrel suited lot doing their death defying stuff on youtube - amazing! :o

Well you've certainly got our attention MM  Looking forward to reading your account.

OMG ! well there's one thing the Monkey has big bollocks !
I'm way to much of a wimp go for it and report back !!

I dont think its that crazy. Maybe that makes me crazy!! Hot laps in the zed i am sure are more dangerous at a lot of circuits. Well with my level of talent = to my crazy!! Shortfuse recently commented to someone that i was a nut case!! At the last track day!!

Plus Adam has done loads of these. And as he says he is not scared of letting me hit the ground. But he is terrified of my wife if he dose!! We shall see i am looking forward to it in a very excited way. It will be one of them life experiences I will always remember. I am sure once we are on the plain and its time to jump. I will be wanting to drop anchor at poo bay!!

:D Sounds like much fun. Never tried it and not on my bucket list, But it's definitely the sort of thing I would enjoy. Make a change from head butting rocks.

Dropping the anchor in poo bay would also be my concern - problem Is your in mid flight and a long way from the bay !!!!!!!!! gaffa taping your underwear at all available entry and exit points might be a better idea - go for it !!!

i'd want to do the jump before doing his service, if you do it after make sure you do a bloody good service

Did my training today. Just need to book a time an jump now :o :o

It's a bit scary now!! Knowing how much can go wrong!! Even though it's highly unlikely anything will...

Na get this one done soon might get some more fine this year!!!

You see - your brain is already seizing up with the stress

Ha ha think i must have been very tired!! There was a lot to learn!!

I am hopping to do more than one jump on the day. That obviously depends a lot on how the first one goes. Its virtually impossible for me to kill myself. But i could hate it and be completely terrified!!

You will love this mate. DH biking is nothing in comparison (im also a keen biker). I did a tandem jump earlier this year. It was something else being sat on the edge of a plane 15,000 up with your feet dangling out an open door. I absolutely loved it and im not a fan of heights. I would absolutely do it again in a heart beat! Free falling is one experience i will never forget, plus the instructor did a couple of barrel rolls too which just increases the buzz!

Will be a great experience MM! Has Adam worked as a parachute packer? There's an interesting tale about RAF parachute packers - at any stage, the jump instructors can come in, and select a chute for the packer. The packer then has to complete a jump with that chute - apparently it ensures that chutes are always packed correctly!

HA HA i believe that probably was try and maybe still try if your RAF personnel..... But they farm out a lot of shute packing to anyone who wants to do it and they pay peanuts.. Adam will pack mine for me.
