Small aerial

It is indeed alloy... :?

It may have to have a can of matt black taken to it if I can't get the plastic shinier...
 
They sure do. I emailed them last weekend asking the same thing. The reply was just add 5.99 dollars in the postage box at the checkout stage. Ordered mine Sunday and had an email saying it was dispatched Monday, top service so far.
 
Just out of interest... did anyone consider the even smaller 1.5 inch version of the mangowalk. Seems like the 3 inch antenna makes AM unusable.. so why not go as small as possible ?

That ones black chrome so wouldnt match the base, cant see a rubber 1.5" listed.

I think it is a choice of black... or... chrome. Here is the chrome version.

The black version could be ok... but looks like the black plastic one posted earlier rather than matt rubber through...
 
The "black plastic" one is actually black alloy and LW/MW (AM) and FM work just perfectly with it.... 3.8". It looks fine from a distance, its only on close inspection the match isn't "perfect". But I reckon if you can shine the plastic up a little then it'll look just fine.

God bless this forum it causes me dilemas I did nt even know I had !!! On the strength of reading this thread its occured to me too that the stock aerial is ugly. SO. What have I done!...Just ordered the mangowalk off Ebay!! Stop coming up with ideas,its costing me a fortune!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you order the mangowalk one? How do you like your 2.0 edition sport I got the edition exclusive and after having a 3.2 boxster,find the 2.0 engine still really good fun

Yes mangowalk 3" Grey. I am expecting the AM reception to be unusable.

I find the 2.0 sport just fine... not too fast but lively enough. My only other experience of performance cars is a Mini MCS (first version) and an MX-5. I would say that the supercharged MCS is a tad faster but the Z4 feels more sure footed (Sport suspension and lower CofG).

If I could do that cut and paste link thing I would !!! but failing that. You won tfind it on ebay UK Go to worldwide ebay and search mangowalk (I think its www.ebay.com) someone correct me if Im wrong. Let me know how you get on#
