Hi
My Zed is being repaired under insurance and I been given the SLK 250 CDI 2014 with only 8k on the clock.
the SLK is an amazing piece of work but I am missing my Z4, The SLK is definitely more of a head turner as it is new but tbh you don't feel like like you are driving it, it drives itself basically (YOU JUST ACCELERATE AND AGAIN ITS AN AUTOMATIC) and there is too much comfort for a sports car, it is more like if you driving an E-class.
The handling is amazing with the Michelin non-rft - but again I still got the RFT on my zed - so can't really compare.
All in all and in my humble opinion i'd say that the SLK and the Z4 are completely 2 different cars and that its not fair to compare them, it all depends on what you want from a car and on your preferences.
In the meantime I just can't wait to have my Zed back
