Back home now. Will shortly be going out for a :driving: :D

...then off to the garage for two days to get the lights fixed prior to next week's adventure

Good to see you back safely Bing !

I know I'm not an official attendee but could you please PM me the final route so we can decide just how far we might tag along with you guys on the Saturday ? Cheers

Give me a minute to dig it out, I'll send you the version I sent Craig

And thanks... I am now Zedless though and hating it as the weather is ace down here. From what the chap said earlier I think I may rue not having a warranty :(

Thanks - in preparation for our Euro trip I renewed my warranty on my (non M) zed at some £800+ - I'm not sure if it was great value as I didn't use it last year at all despite paying for several upgrades. Sorry - an off topic comment - I'll stop there - back OT - watched a programme on Skye (not Sky) last night ( well actually on BBC about Skye) - scenery looked fabulous as ever and looking up at the bridge for the water where the present was rowing "over the sea to Skye" looked great.

After watching the cows, hanging out the seaweed and keeping a close eye on the skies for mare's tails, mackerel scales and rings around the moon....

...I am mostly liking accuweather's forcast for the Skye run...

I am loving that forecast Perry, fingers crossed it stays that way 8)

Might give you a call over the weekend to talk about a few things if I get a mo...

EDIT - regarding my lights, they've had everything apart and tested, and it's 99.9% both stepper motors have gone. Bizarre that they'd both go at once - but maybe one went, and the other followed as it was being overworked trying to level with the other light ? Anyway, they had to order the parts in so maybe fixed I time for this, but probably not. So daylight driving only :D

PerryGunn, out Saturday evening also, will call at some point though

metal licker, you've got the original PM... And email... But will send again :poke:

Midge face nets and anti midge cream ordered.

Some of the scenery looks amazing - forecast is looking promising too . . . we shall see.

:driving:

Midge face nets ??? For driving ? Or am I missing something ? We've got jungle juice and an electronic fly zapper tennis racket - is that not enough :?

Hmm, seeing as how they cost next to nothing and I've been caught out in Kielder in the past, I thought I'd get a couple to keep in the Zed for the trip - we shall see if they are needed.

Don't expect to wear them whilst driving though! :D (I hope!)

:driving:

If you do wear them whilst driving Paul, don't forget to post a photo or two

Currently got an odd fault with my windscreen wipers so hope that forecast is correct. They will work when you pull the lever inwards to wash the windows but not normally. Hoping it's just a fuse but the garage are on standby to work on it on Tuesday
