Compared to the gruppe m that price is ok IMO.... It's expensive but makes the gruppe n item look well over priced....

If they get it to 340ish on the GB, it's as good as your going to get.

According to the Simota global website, the part number for the Z4M fitment is CF610-32, but can't see it at a UK distributor/supplier (there isn't one listed on the Simota dealer map).

The http://www.simotafilters.co.uk/ website redirects to http://www.sanspeed.net/flash8container.aspx?v=Simota which doesn't list one for the Z4M.

They're not. They do them for some non-M variants of the Z already!

Do they? I took a look at the UK website but it said "products under development" for the Z4.... am I looking in the wrong place?

I could never find one specifically for the Z4 when I searched, but was led to believe the one designed for the E46 with the same M54 engine is a close fit - the only issue being the intake just doesn't reach fully to the front of the engine bay, hence potentially draws in some warmer air.

Just got this reply to my email asking for availability on the CF610-32 for the Z4M.

Hi Tony,

Yes we have made a stock order with the factory on the 23rd July, which should arrive in September.

They are £372.06 including VAT and delivery.

I think the issue will be securing one from this first batch - so I'm not sure whether they'll consider a group buy until they get some idea of how they're selling.

No oil required.
All of our air filters can be run dry, or for extreme conditions and increased filtration Simota air filter oil can be used.

If a video pops up and sound is just as a Gruppe M then i will deffinately be interested in a group buy!

Seen as through there is argueable power gains from a Gruppe M anyway i expect this to be the same. so for £600 less...seems like a no brainer IMO

I should be getting one of the first batch as I've pre-ordered & paid for it.

Unfortunately I'll also have the Diablo rear boxes on by then, so you may not be able to hear the intake :evil:
