At Little Chef on my ownio

Well nobody from the club but lovely looking Z3M Coup there. Wonder which of the guys we spoke with yesterday that belonged too. We actually spent a bit of time over there chatting and the guys even convinced Mike that a Z3M Coup would be a great car choice. So I can actually buy one now, wanted one for donks

As I left last night coming out of the end of zone 2 into where the good stalls were I heard some guys discussing my car and wondering if the 35is was 'any good'

It was a pleasure to meet RJBaz 3.4, and your good lady. Mike was eyeing up your Alpina later on. I hope you made it to the Wing.

We've already committed to doing it against last year. Met some really good new people, caught up with others I've not seen since last year both at the car clubs and trade stands. Didn't get home till 7pm this evening after retiring last night at 1am after a few drinks with a couple we had met who were there with their Maserati. So late start and stuck at a standstill on the A1 for near 2 hours due to an accident.

Such a great event and the weather was just fantastic. Just a shame that there was a fatality, Denis Welch during the last pre 66 race. Sad ending to what, up to that point been a great event. Condolences go out to his family at this sad time.

You too Angie4m and Mike.

Just back home after 8pm after visiting families, the traffic today was a lot better than last Friday, took us five and half hours with one hour break but last Friday took us seven and half hours with three quarter hour break !!

We have had a great time, great events, great cars, great parade and great weather. :D

On Saturday met Tom Scott, Markeg with lovely red Alpina, LukeMace, and few others I've forgotten their names  . Met and chat with several friendly Z3 owners too.

Went to the wings, saw Stirling Moss in a racing car and had his autograph on my official racecard. We were watching the last pre 66 race, apparently the accident at “the loop” bend happened just after the start, we couldn’t see it as we were on the stand next to the pit-stop, so we caught the bus back and saw two cars outside the track, then saw the paramedics. Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Denis Welch.

My mate Tony Wood was racing in a Maserati Tec Mec for IN racing in the race with the fatality, really really sad, hit them all pretty hard.

The car overturned landed on his head and he had the throttle on full, was airlifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. A lot more incidents this year compared to the last 3 years. Jodie Kidds XJ220 up in flames, priceless 70s F1 car rolled nose to tail about 4 times, they were certainly competing this year lol!

Took 4k images this year… lots to sort through, but will get them up once sorted. Was great fun having the press pass, access all areas, using the BMW transport was really useful. Managed to get really close to the action to the point where the Ferrari F40 LM race car nearly spun into the barrier I was photographing from! Squeeky bum times! Waited all day for that race and it lasted like 5 laps after the porsche GT1 collided with the F40. Not sure why they cancelled the race.

Great to see everyone again! New and old faces, pretty disappointing turn out tho, BMW stand was also pretty disappointing compared to last year and the area we had to display wasn't near as good as last year. Also the event was pretty quiet probably about half the amount of cars but last year was some pretty big manufacturer anniversaries.

We stayed until about 7-30pm on the Sunday was the last Z still standing. Got home on Sunday at about 11pm. Brilliant weekend if you haven't been go, you will love it!

Dad snapped a few pics of me on Copse

Plenty of interest tho with a few serious parties, spent half of Sun showing people round the car, so will see how it goes.

Will see how the interest from Silverstone goes, got a few people wanting to come and see it and if it doesn't sell then il put a thread up

Surely you've got to give the forum members a chance to keep it in 'the family'...

Not sure when the times comes to move mine on I'll advertise it on here. Can't be doing with all of the debate on price blah blah blah. I've seen too many FS threads degenerate.

That was another thought same old on every for sale thread by the usual suspects. Not always to the detriment but I would think fairly annoying for the seller

Didn't realise your car was up for sale. Never saw the for sale sign. Convinced Mike on a z3m coup and was trying to convince him on a E86. Darn!

Who was in the passenger seat on Sunday Tom? Gave a wave as you drove by but no response. Was it possibly you???

Ye had the signs on it all weekend. On the way in? I was passenger dad was driving! Sorry if I ignored you lol!
