Silvergrey Z4 Coupe with Red Leather

Well I suppose that's good news Ed!

The buyer is certainly going to have a long trip home to enjoy it.

My E91 had to go to TWG a week ago and Will mentioned your new car - I hope it isn't too painful! :)

FWIW we have given Newlands a miss since they introduced the dreaded parking charges. :(

For the time being we have been tagging along to the general car meet at the Black Swan in Ockham, as they also take place on the 2nd Sunday of the month.

Hopefully we'll see you there.

Sad to see this go. Lovely car and clearly meticulously maintained and managed (I have that spreadsheet too!).

If the fella’s taking the Portsmouth ferry I suspect he’s got access to some of the nicer places in France to drive. Really interesting that it went abroad - take it that prices are quite a bit stronger on the continent for these?

Sorry to see your Zed go - you were the first Forum member I met!

However, we all have to move on. Good luck with new houses etc and hope that you'll be able to re-join the Forum in time.

In the meantime, please do one along to a Forum gathering. The Black Swan at Ockham is a good one, and not far from you!

Thanks again for the kind words chaps :)

Mr PT I've no idea what the market is like in France - assume it must be more economical to get one from the UK though?

Mr Tidy - yep it's pretty painful. I've gone with maximum effort on the economy/cheap motoring thing - it's a Citroen C1. No Ac, No central locking, and windy windows, but it's £20 a year to tax, peanuts to insure and it does 56mpg so is ideal for maximimising savings for a new toy when the dust has settled from the house move!

Rick - It's been bloody ages - how are you? I'll definitely pop it in the diary to pop along to one or more of the meets at Ockham - be great to catch up over a coffee and bacon roll again; it's been far too long!

Yes, that's what Will mentioned - I wasn't sure you'd want to go public with that though!

The only time my car has appeared on the "Spotted" thread was when you saw my Ruby Black one at TWG. :)

Good luck with the house move anyway.

I'm sure you'll soon be back in one of Munich's finest!
