Signature picture not working

Since the weekend shutdown half my signature words + pic has disappeared :?

The dimensions according to resizeimage.net are 231 x 127 px. I hope that this makes sense. As I said it was trial and error to get to this, not as easy as uploading photo's generally to the forum.

Well i reversed engineered your signature and used your pic and that worked, I reduced my pic to 138 pixels high and then now that works..the 150 pixel limit seems to be duff info, at least for me.. it was at 147 pixel high and would not work..weird..

There is a 600 px width limit too - if that's exceeded then being under 150 px in height will still fail.

I daren’t touch my sig for fear of losing it to the murky depths of the etherweb where it would never be found again, it sounds as though splitting the atom would be a much easier task

Glad to see that you managed to get your signiture sorted out but how did you get the two images added into it? This is isomething that I tried and wasn't allowed too. I really wanted to add an image of the coupe aswell.

Pbondar will have combined the two images into one first and then uploaded it :wink:

Fixed... although isn't that sig a bit tall?? (maybe separate them by commas )

Hello as suggested I got two pics down to a 139 ish high size in Microsoft office picture editor...then loaded MS Paint and copied both in and positioned side by side then saved back.


Then back in MS office picture editor cropped to get under the 600 pixel limit (which it did flag up specifically as over 600 limit rather than as in the past just saying couldn’t work out the size) and then uploaded to your site you recommended and VOILA...only taken a year....

From within your postimage link click on 'Share' (top left) then copy 'hot link for forums' then paste the link into your signature (user control / Profile / Edit signature)

Uploading Signature:

Click on your name (top right)
Select 'user control panel'
Select 'profile tab'
Select 'edit signature' (NOTE: select 'edit avatar' to upload a pic above your username)
Then link to the image you want in your sig and add your text
Then submit

Note: there is a 255 character limit and also a file size limit for your signature image (600 x 150 pixels)
