Right then everyone, this is inspired off the VX220 forum... This threads purpose is to show off your SHED's to us all, these being, your second/third/fouth etc. runabout car. The car that carries the crap, does the miles and keeps the Zed that bit more special :)

Unfortunately im just looking for one and about to go buy tonight this superb example of a SEAT Arosa 1.4TDi. A bit over 100k and around £1.5k this is hoping to take off a good few thousand miles off my Zed with 65+mpg and £30 a Year Tax:

Oh and my mate will remap it for free to 100~110bhp ;)

Lets get Shedding!!

PS. If you were excited to show your Garden Shed and now feel let down - why not show us anyway :P

not sure mrs gannet would like me calling her car a shed :o

its a year old Mazda 2 Sport... no pics yet though.

and you wouldn't want to see a picture of our garden shed :P

Mine's about the same size as an actual garden shed LOL:

2500cc 5-cyl TDI - 130ps - lots of torque - 0-62mph 14secs or so - 37mpg - big boot :D - Z4 front seats

Any future photos I post of it will be different - it's literally gaining everything including the kitchen sink.......

(doesn't really fit the description of a shed, but it is the other vehicle that I own)

My contribution to the worlds of sheds is this....

2000 W Hyundai Accent 1.3 , 40k miles. I bought it back in late 08 for the princely sum of £400. It was used as a second car to ferry crap around in while we killed time for it's intended purpose - which was to drive it to Mongolia and leave it there :) It never once let me down, not on this side of the pond - where it would be left for 8-10 week periods without being driven - or while driving across the planet. It was quite refined to drive in fact with a fantastically smooth ride, comfy seats, light steering and gear change... No sports car of course but as a run about, I just can't fault it. It's now near the border with China being used by a charity I believe.

Keep em comin!

It's sort of got it's own thread but I'll happily put it here too :D

My new Fiesta 1.4TDCi Van

Putting it through my business so it's cheap as chips to run, trips to the tip, etc.
Just got it, just taken it to Kwik Fit for an aircon regas, then I shall be joining a fiesta forum to maybe retrofit electric windows, few other bits.

So far, LOVE IT !

It's predecessor:

406 HDI 90.. excellent & comfy, ultimately worth nothing as I let it's MOT run out, contemplating the scrappage scheme. Sold to a little old man who wanted to fix it up in the end for £250...

Probably should have invested in a roof rack.. :?

Damn it, Ed, you too Andy... have been looking at sheds on eBay - although some sums show it probably wouldn't be worth the fuel saving... will stick to my "practical" classic pursuits.

Good sheddage... Mike, great trip, like Ed I'd had a look before - something I'd really like to do myself.

You got me looking at Pandas for 6 months, that has to be worse.

It seems the Road Tax thing is really kicking in.. the guy I bought mine from is a trader, but his own runaround is a new Econetic Fiesta with NO roadtax. Commercial vehicles are different though.

Ed - can they remap mine for free too ?

Shed? never heard that one before. You Brits have some interesting words. Mine is a 2006 Honda Element all wheel drive. My mountain car. My work takes me over a mountain pass once a week year round sometimes through snow and ice. I also, like to ski, as well as hike in the mountains. Hiking sometimes takes me over miles of gravel roads. All the things the Z won't or doesn't want to do. So, while the little garage queen is tucked away, I go in this.

This is the GF's daily driver and the Zed parked up toastie in the garage. The 500 is the 1.2 Pop with additional Italian side stripes and 15" two tone sport alloys and the GF has called him Chalky

Don't get too drive very often but it is a great little car to drive and great for shifting stuff that i won't put in the Zed

Here my shed (3rd car) bought to transport kids and my bike.

bought in April for £450, 105k on clock 1.9 diesel and I'm getting 53mpg. Don't use the Z4 for work now which pays for fuel, tax and insurance.

Just had to put a complete exhaust on (up to manifold) OK fitted myself but £90 all in  and new rear shows and cylinders £60 and then it flew through it's MOT with no advisories

Might bash the matching front wings out one day, but it does add character, also means I can park near the entrance at Tesco :D

Really Mike?! A Micra? Not beating about the bush but I fecking hate them! They always bloody well antagonise me and get in the way on road trips

Not really my second car, more a weekend special, but in terms of 'shed' it qualifies on bodywork condition.

Hard to believe there's a close to £50k build cost in this wreck

Hello Mike. Got a Micra? Hello Mike. Got a Micra? Hello Mike. Got a Micra?

Here is my 'commute and holidays' transport. Gets better fuel mileage than the Z and is a lot more comfortable when the road gets bumpy. And the contrast makes me appreciate the Z for what it is: The most fun one can have with clothes on...
