Spotted today… show us your weird, rare and gorgeous spots

I’ve never seen a white M Coupe before (presuming it wasn’t silver masquerading as white in direct sunlight). I think I’d have mine in Dakar Yellow or Estoril Blue. Or perhaps Laguna Seca Blue or Imola Red… Or any colour, in fact
The 360 is beginning to age quite well, after appearing a little blobby to me in period.

I haven't either but the Breadvan was definitely white with a blue and black bi-colour interior, although I'd always go for Imola Red. :)

Maybe the 360 looks less blobby now because newer cars are more blobby!

And you pictured it next to a Ford Sierra, the ultimate in blobby cars against which nothing looks blobbier!

I didn’t buy an Imola Red M Coupe in 2014 because the original steering rack had been replaced with a slower one intended for a different BMW when it developed some play. The owner thought that would tame the spiky handling. It had around 80k miles and they were asking £8k.

On the same day, I also didn’t buy a silver 60k mile M Coupe for £7.5k even with the offer of two spare, unused rear tyres thrown in. The VANOS was a little noisy when the engine was cold and I thought I could find a better example in a better colour for the same money.

In retrospect, I should have bought both - the only example I’ve seen since at anything like those prices had 200k miles and they haven’t been under £20k for a very long time :headbang:

Parked up in our road!! Marty?!!

Pretty cool 😎

Saw this at C&M The Bowl a couple of days ago, complete with a Nintendo in the cabin. Sounded pretty good too!

I was surprised to see it in your post about a day after I’d been - I’ve never seen a Delorean out and about before. Think the owner said he’d come from Stevenage.

First time I’ve been to The Bowl but will be back soon, there’s some nice roads around the area 😊

Forgot to add these last week. Lady turned up to a local car meet in this Ferrari 250 California, 3.5 V12. Absolutely stunning.
That can't be a 'real one', can it? It definitely isn't a Z3 based one.
It would have a 3 litre 'Columbo' V12 if it's a Fezza.
It could be one of the two on a DK Engineering youtube video which they 'restored' in the UK.

It has genuine 1960s Marchal foglights, what looks like a genuine 1960s Nardi steering wheel (solid spokes), genuine rear light clusters, genuine rear reflectors, a genuine tonneau cover and a genuine windscreen. The exhausts sit like they should for a Ferrari V12 aswell.

Whatever it is, it's a seriously valuable car, that. :o

AND a seriously beautiful one.

The DVLA think it’s real, although the date of manufacture (1960) doesn’t tally with the date of first registration (2016), so perhaps it’s an imported vehicle.
It last changed hands in January 2023. If it is real, a record of its sale should be fairly easy to find, given how celebrated they are.

Well it’s definitely a 3.5 V12 and definitely a Ferrari. Whether it’s a real £15m plus or a reworked 308/328 I’m not sure (my gut says real). It was truly stunning and perfect in every way. I also know it was inherited by a lady from her father’s collection of cars (think it was 15 Ferraris in total!). She now uses them as often as possible.

Two more… very different offerings. An Aston outside a high-end hotel in Paris last week, (what’s going on with the 4x4 parking?!!) and a sneak peak of a Cossie spotted (at lights) today

I found the motivation to get the pollen off my car yesterday evening so this morning I popped along to the monthly car meet at a local pub that we often go to, but it was a bit too last minute to post anything on here - although I did meet up with flimper and another E86 owner who isn't on here (yet)!

It was a Corgi model of this car a class-mate of mine had at primary school that made me fall in love with Coupes, although sadly I'll never afford one of those! :(

Went to Denbies in Dorking this morning for BMWs of the 20th century but in fact it was this car that piqued my interest the most. Had to look it up and found it to be an Ultima Can-Am.

flimper was going on to Denbies, but with a 2006 car I figured I'd be persona non grata!

I met him briefly when leaving. He was having clearance issues and I hope I wasn't too optimistic in saying I thought he was OK. I have messaged him to find out! There were a few post 2000 cars in the field and at least 5 Z4s (although I parked in the main car park as my car was dusty).

Seemed all good with the clearance issues! Left early to go to Denbies, and drove past the F40 and GTR a mile down the road, and considered turning round! Will put a few pics up in a bit

Not 7 sepangs just 2 interlagos
