Forgot about this thread... Loved my roof today as I washed the car, magical beading of the totally awesome variety because of the amount of AG stuff on it, and I forgot to take a picture :slaphead:

I wonder what the neighbours are thinking when you go outside to take a pic of your beading?
Well it can't be any worse than that bloke hoovering his plants can it?
You have got to be a right nob to hoover your plants, that is serious OCD.

It could be worse, much worse...

I like using Werkstatt Sealant on silver cars, will get some pics up after I get time to give my new car a wash, clay, clean, polish and top it off with the sealant

Had my Zed just over 2 months now, and since i bought it i've been using the Hellshine Abyss Spray. It's had 3 applications so far, with the latest been nearly 3 weeks ago. Even with the weather turning crappy, and the car starting to get grubby, i'm pretty pleased the water is still beading nicely :)

Just posted over in the newbies forum but thought it deserved a place here too. Took this photo this morning as I was flying out the door.

Cleaned with two bucket method and polished with MER polish (all i could find / afford at the time!)

Pretty happy with the results :)

Light rain on a freshly waxed bonnet last night. Some pretty aggressive edge enhancement going on in my phone camera [EDIT - no, it's just the flash, duh...]!

It had been just over 6 weeks since i last managed to give the Zed a wash, so it had got pretty grimy. I took these couple of pics before i went to it with the sponge - not bad after 6 weeks, on what was a very dirty car - Hellshine Abyss spray.

Stuart that is a fantastic photo. Puts mine to shame.

Woke up Sunday morning for a quick wax, loved the way the sun was dancing on the bonnet:

This was with 1 coat of Chemical Guys Blacklight.....I'm not overly impressed with the beading. Maybe another coat would help.

EDIT:

The above photos are two weeks after application and first thing of a Dewy morning.

Below is the result of a light shower 3 hours after application:

Those are nice too

I'm going to invest in some quick detailer to keep it topped up
I'd be happy to let you have a sample of the Sonax Brilliant Shine to try, it has superb durability & lotus for a QD - when I first tried it, I was so impressed that I brought 5L.

Perversely, I now tend to use it mainly on the 118D as I applied Sonax Polymer Net Shield to #320 and I prefer the look of Gtechniq C2v3 as a QD on top of PNS...

Washing the car on Sunday, I misted some Megs Ultimate QD over the car before drying. It has really helped the beading, much tighter (although still many different size globules.....does that matter?). Anyway pics:
