cant show any bead porn but can say it takes 20 mins and aigburth to the runcorn bridge for mine to go away in the mornings :D :D (beading on the car that is before anyone sniggers)

My roof when I tried to wash it the other day, brought to you by an extremely generous quantity of AG protectant :

Two different coatings, done at different times, gives two different results as shown below.

First one, polished with Megs Ultimate Compound and final coat of Poorboys EX-P sealant:

Second one, polished with Megs 105 and 205 combination, sealed then waxed over the top with Dodo Juice Purple haze:

I think I prefer the waxy finish overall because the underlying shine remains evident but the sealant-only water sheeting is quite a pleasant effect,too.

Whilst I love the sound of heavy rain when tucked up in a comfy bed, I did lay awake worrying about the roof motor filling up with even more water last night.

However, I did have some pretty good beading this morning!

This is a dirty car. We drove up to Knockhill and it had two hours going round the track, followed by a night in Livingston and then a drive up to Aviemore. We put the Buzz Top on as rain was forecast, and when we took it off the next day, this is what we found:

Dry under the top, but to my surprise, beading elsewhere.
