The wheels are easy enough to swap out, wouldn't let it taint your decision

Even without what he's changed/repaired/replaced, it works out that basically you'll be paying him around £4.40 a day to store it for you.
Not bad really as that would only get you a couple of hours a day in a car park.

Agree with all of the above comments saying go for it. You want one, you know the history of this one and its a small price to pay for a huge peace of mind. Hopefully you can get the 108's thrown in as those replacement wheels look a little Max Power IMO.

As you can see by my user name I used to own a TR5 in the early 80's. I sold it to a racing friend who then won the post historic sports car championship in it. I sold it for £3000 and immediately regretted it
3 years later he offered it to me back for £5500 but now it was famous and held lap records at many circuits. I declined but that car is worth over 40000 and lives in a centrally heated garage alongside a Ferrari.
Buy it back! because money has no value really, apart from what it gets you 8)

I’d say go for it. Alternatively if you ever fancied a change take the opportunity to instead look for a different colour or put the money towards a newer model perhaps an Si

I bought my old z4 back after a 7 year break! That was 2 years ago and no regrets going back - loved the car first time and now doing the tweaks I didn’t want to do (didn’t have the guts to do!) when I had it originally!
