Same dilema I had - I wasn't using it enough but also needed more space in the car. I miss it a lot but don't regret selling it. You could replace it with loads of cool cars, only thing that would come close to the Z4MC would be a 997 C2S though.... :)

0.2 seconds may not seem like much... but the Z is still quicker!

At the end of the day it is your choice. No matter what you decide, it's going to leave you with a lot of "what ifs"...

... for me the advice on the difference in the mortgage payments is a good argument. Would you notice the difference (really) in your monthly payments?

As previously mentioned, you have a car that you love and know. On the other hand - if it's a sunshine car - would you really miss it...?

Well.. After 24 hours of being advertised she's now gone! :cry: Sold to another petrol head which eases the pain slightly.

Thanks for all your responses, in the end my head ruled my heart and the decision came down to buying power. There are currently no competitive options to mortgage taking bonuses/commissions (bulk of my income) into account and the extra 26k or so could buy another bedroom! The irony is that I can finance pretty much whatever I like through dealer finance etc, but these are unusual times.

As mentioned, it seems the used market is buoyant right now for the right cars, making it very good timing. It had 2 strong offers over 2 days. One hadn’t even seen it!!! Should've put the price up!

I’ll continue to lurk here, and hope to be back in the driver’s seat again in the future.
