Thanks for the comments guys.

I should also say that I have also fitted an Eisenmann Race Exhaust which is included in the sale price. The original exhaust is available and easily refitted as you's know.

Looks lovely from the outside, make sure you include some interior shots though.

I was very interested in this car, but the thing that has put me off perusing any further is the four and a half years between the services in 08 to 2012.
That is just too long for oil not to have been changed IMHO

theirs just no excuse for this imo.... don't buy these type of cars if you not going to follow the service guide lines, i wouldn't leave oil in my 1.0l nissan micra for that long.

Yet the car has a 2 year BMW AUC warranty. BMW really do seem to make policies up as they go along...

This looks like the one that was up for sale a couple of times last year,it has the same awful wooden trim & similar mileage ,if it is then I was interested until I spoke to the owner & found out about the 4 year service gap,as beedub said, unforgivable on any car, especially one like this, unless it was laid up for that period & proof can be given, even then its tarnished for life I think, such a shame.
I don't think anyone on this forum would touch it with a bargepole, maybe at a lower price, but £18,995 is top money for a private sale, but it would need a better service history to reach that,IMHO.

I'd take the risk that if anything was going to go wrong after two services since that 4 year lull, it would have by now - then offer £15k, change the interior trim and keep it for 10 years doing 1000 miles a year before selling it back to Hexagons for £45k.

To be fair, this is what I thought.

If it is the same car it was selling for £15.5k.

For a decent spec, well serviced / maintained 30k car £19k would be reasonable.

Much as it's not ideal to have the same oil in the engine over that period, it's heat and # of cycles which change the oil's molecular structure, not just being in the engine. Also remember that the 2 year rule is applied the world over, not just in the UK. A car in Texas would suffer auch harder life in that heat.

Mechanically it wouldn't concern me in the least. It's just resale (to you lot :-) ) that would concern me.

Whilst the reality is it is extremely unlikely to have done any damage mechanically, the point is it is a performance car, which is being sold at top money. For that the expectation is that it has been correctly looked after at all times.

Having said that though, if I had the cash, I'd be onto the seller for some negotiation pretty swiftly!!!
