Sepang Z4M Coupe For Sale - Low Miles

I'm noticing the OP hasn't been back on with updated pictures since the comments were made about the service history. Is the etiquette to comment on the price of people selling their cars on here or should we actually have just noted the service history and left it at that?

Agree its a shame about a rare coloured car with "interesting" interior combo (i quite like sound of it) but with Z4M prices a bit mental currently, whose to argue with trying for a top end price for a sale.

Unless you want the car to remain OEM ofcourse.....personally a £150 fix wouldn't be an attractive prospect. As a short-term fix whilst I waited to source some CL or Piano Black trim, then yeh, but not as a long term solution.

I have (hydrographics) piano dash trim in mine - looks exactly the same as the oem 4emeqydy.jpg

The seller has updated photos on the PH advert, showing the interior....!!! It's certainly an interesting choice, and indicates a life of low rpms, Classic FM and pipe-smoke... I'm sold

I know I keep saying it, it really is top dollar for the car, but DAMN it's a beautiful example! I wish I could consider it more seriously, but sadly not at the moment!

I don't really agree with the servicing concerns to be honest. Barn finds often haven't been serviced for 10+ years and it doesn't harm the resale price. This won't be aimed at somebody wanting to use it as a daily, it will go to a collector that will probably never drive or service it.

I'm not sure a 30k mileage car will go to a collector, a lot of people want low mileage cars to suit their low mileage requirements.

Also, barn finds will normally require a complete engine rebuild....not really apples with apples here.

I doubt that there are any serious problems with the engine, but thats actually not the point, most people in the market for a car like this will do some research,& will know about the correct service schedule,so as soon as the 4 year gap is disclosed they will walk away, which is exactly what I did,for the right price it's probably a good buy,but if you're thinking about resale, which most of us are, then you have a problem, not one id care to have, especially if you need to sell it quickly.

Car is now sold.

For everyones information I held off on the sale until I received official confirmation from BMW UK regarding the service history on this car. There is now a letter from BMW UK in the service book confirming the car meets the BMW AUC criteria in spite of the missing oil service due to the low mileage covered during that period (only 10k miles in 4 years) and that upon the cars reinstatement Hexagon (Car had been in storage) replaced all fluids and carried out a complete Inspection II ahead of schedule as technically the car only required an Inspection I at that time.

Thanks for the interest. I'm glad to say the car has moved on to another enthusiast who will continue to look after the car as well as it has been in the past.
