Stuart, great if you can make it..look forward to seeing you..are you solo or do you have SWMBO riding shotgun?

Me too please Peter.
I'm in Glasgow Saturday night, ideally like to do both days but won't require any hotels, won't be able to make the meal Saturday night.
Not sure if my son will want to ride shotgun.

Cheers
Stu

Most likely just myself Peter. I'm now thinking that the Sunday is the more likely for me.

A weekend of outstanding motoring / scenery in Reivers Country.

A variation on the last two years as the other runs adjoining this area have been adjusted /varied.

One day will see a more north and eastern orbit stretching as far as Northumbria and Berwick and the Jim Clark museum at Duns and the outskirts of Edinburgh whereas the other day will go further south and west taking in more of The Debatable Lands and Northumbria

We may flip the days around to avoid the weather if in the highly unusal situation it may choose to be wet and windy in Scotland!

For convenience we will start / finish in Jedburgh each day.

We will have a dinner on the Saturday night.

Planning for a curry in our new local in Jedburgh, great food, if simple decor..has the benefit of walk in for people staying in town..hic..

If people need advice on accommodation I can publish one based on feedback from members.

Please form an orderly queue here:

1) PBondar / Peter and Mo/ Yellow E89
2) MefiEcosse / Rich and Julie /Silver Alpina Sunday (maybe Saturday TBA)
3) EarthDweller / Evan / Silver E85

Craig, no worries, update me when you can...look forward to meeting the rest of the family if that happens

A note to all, due to logistics of lunches we have gone firm on Saturday for the Western orbit taking in Selkirk, Ettrick, Lockerbie, Newcastleton, Hadrians Wall, Kielder and Sunday will be Otterburn firing ranges, Coquet Valley, Wooler, Duns, Jim Clark Museum, Whiteadder Reservoir and Cheviots n home. :driving:

Lunch wise on Sunday we will need to pre-order, I'll need email addresses for me to send you the selection..so please pm me with your email addresses pls..no email no lunch maybe on Saunday! :!:

Also those wavering about which day if you could firm up as the lunch strategy became more complex..I don't actually need a final decision till the thursday but sooner helps if possible..

Much much better looking!

Hello boys n girls..

Please see link for SATURDAY lunch time menu..

http://www.redesdale-arms.co.uk/restaurant/menus

That's the lunch and dinner menu NOT the Sunday menu!!

I need these returned to me no later than close of play on the 2nd October via pm / text /email please..for digestive tract planning we be having a curry around 19:00 that evening..with no afternoon tea stops planned..

I emailed this to all those who have given me their email addresses as part of this run..several haven't yet..if you dont have an email in your inbox now then for whatever reason I don't have your email for this trip and therefore catering isn't booked!

Still chasing the Duns menu..you wouldn't believe how challenging it is to go to a restaruant in Scotland these days!

Just a note to say that all those that have emailed me should have a barrage of menus..slight complication on Sunday is that its either the simple cafe menu or the bespoke Z4 menu not both..majority verdict wins..RSVP

I'm easy Pete. Can I suggest as your the organizer and go to a lot of trouble on behalf of everyone, you choose which option and everyone pick from that.

Given the choice we would prefer the simple cafe menu, but will go with whatever you or the majority would like
