UPDATE,MARCH,2017....

Looking to get datessorted for this asap,so those who need to can arrange a B N B,or time off, etc.

Thinking about SATURDAY 20TH OR SUNDAY 21STMAY.......

ALTERNATIVELY WE COULD GO FOR SATURDAY 27TH OR SUNDAY 28TH,
Though this is a Bank Holiday weekend for some, and roads may be/may not be busier as a result???

Let me know your preference, for those interested in coming

The weekend of 20th/21st suits me best, can do the Saturday or Sunday that weekend but would prefer the Sunday!

Cheers Rich, was thinking that weekend ,and hopefully that suits the majority.
Will make a decision in the coming days,ASAP,so folks can book b N be,etc or a day off work,f need be.

I would be interested in going I am due to pick up my new (well new to me it's a 14plate) Z4 on Monday. This would be my first meet with you guys this is my first Z4 so a blast round the borders seems a good way to meet up with other owners and get to know all about the good points (Ihope) of owning and running these beautiful cars.

No worries.
You a definite for attending, and i will add you to the list, cheers.

What model, engine etc you getting, colour, etc?

Should be depending on the actual date. The car is red with black leather which is my favourite colour it's only the 1.8 which I wasn't sure about at first but after driving it I loved it, probably not enough power for some but plenty for me, my boy racer days are long gone.I also own a 99 2.0 ltr Alfa Spider which I've had for 9 years but I am letting my son use this for the next year or so hence the need for another convertible and being a sucker for a good looking car and trying a few others the only one that really does it for me is the Z4

Cool
The Alfa Spider will be nice....Also a fan of the Gtv's, Brera's and the likes :D

Looking like the date will be Sunday 21st May..... Going by pms and posts,it is favourite :driving:

Look forward to meeting you,and seeing your z

I have just been informed by she who must be obeyed that we are going up to Cromarty that weekend so cant make those dates (will be a good run for the Z4) however if it is the following weekend we will definitely attend.I am a bit of an Alfa fan I just sold a Brera 2.2 jts I had it for three years it was a beautiful car although I didnt like the GM derived engine underpowered and uneconomical this helped to fund the Z4 purchase but I cant seem to let go of the Spider.

Hi Craig. Just found your planned road trip around the borders and if it's the 19th/20th May I'd like to think I could coax the Z4 out of hibernation. If the following weekend I'm of round the Alps for 10 day road trip. I'm looking to get it mot'd and see if I can put some miles under it's belt beforehand. I just need to put a list together of jobs that still need completing, but I'll try my best. Oh just found out the roofs decided it ain't playing ball, ah well another job to add to the list.

Have a great safe run and hopefully catch up at another run in future
