Scotland Z4-Forum Meet Fife 31st October

For a period of time we'll have patients in the "same" ward in two separate hospitals - will need medical cover for both. Just depends when they move them. Pretty annoyed as the next weekend Im working is the first two days of a weeks annual leave and the next one I'd requested not to work and taken the Monday off as I'm going to Edinburgh on the Sunday night. :(

Hey guys,

sorry to say not entirely sure if I will make it to this. My department is moving across the city to the Western this weekend. I'm not meant to be working this weekend (already doing two out of the next three and worked last weekend) but they're getting a bit huffy so may well have to help with the move. Pretty disappointed as was really looking forward to one last jaunt before the winter. Will know for sure over the next day or two. Fingers crossed!

Is this punishment for telling that poor Nurse to "rub it until it sticks up" :D

Really sorry to be missing this, just have to slum it by the pool in the sunshine instead. 8)

That was a complete slip of the tongue. Honest!

Personally I think JP is just mking up excuses, He just doesnt want to go coz he is embarresed by his 4 pot :poke:

It's ok james, it might be small but at least it doesn't have daisy wheels.

Really looking forward to this now - really hope you can make it JimmyPop - sounds like the good ol NHS are getting more than their share's efforts out of you. Get some me time. :driving:

What Car said.
Built at Hams Hall in Warwickshire, this engine features Valvetronic technology and VANOS valve control. The VANOS system decides when the engines valves are opened while Valvetronic determines by how much they open. The end result is improved engine performance in terms of power, economy and responsiveness. The Valvetronic 2.0-litre is in fact one of BMWs more impressive units and the generous spread of torque means that it drives a whole lot bigger than its modest capacity would at first suggest. Plumbed into the front of a Z4, this engine will propel the car from zero to 60mph in just over eight seconds and will run on to a top speed of 137mph. Do you really need a car that will travel significantly quicker than this? The answer is probably no. Yes, more power is always nice to have but, as sales of the larger capacity Z4 engines have shown, the vast majority of customers dont seem to view outright horsepower as a key selling point.

This bodes well for the Z4 2.0-litre. Few customers taking one for a test drive will feel that the 200Nm of torque is in any way inadequate.

Yeah but you'll be fine: you'll easily be able to outrun the 2.0's owners you've upset in your 2.5 :poke:

Serious note: read on another forum about someone being reported to the PF (i.e. not a simple 3 points) for doing 70mph in the 50mph zone just north of the Forth Road Bridge, before it becomes a 70mph. Looking like quite a few points and a fine. Scary as it's a bit where everyone's speed gradually creeps up after the Bridge, and there's no real excuse for it (no on ramps, etc). Just be careful on Sunday folks.

I think there is a layby at that point, which may be the reason for the reduced limit.

Actually, I think you're right

I'm more familiar with the Kincardine Bridge route between Falkirk and Dunfermline - more fun!
