Never had the pleasure of meeting him but RIP cj_eds
 
gutted to hear this, like others I never met him but sympathies go out to the family.

too young, life's too short sometimes :(
 
Very Sad to hear this as well,met Carl a couple of times at meets,and he was a nice guy to chat to.

Only met Carl once or twice but we had some shared interests Zeds, Vulcans and The great Scottish mountain pass which is Glenshee - there are some great shots of Carl's on here of the 2013 Range Rover under wraps on the Glenshee road - a true petrol head.

We'll miss him on here.

I never got to meet him, and I wish I did as he was always friendly, funny and knowledgable. After posting second on the thread I have watched it grow all day, and it makes me more sad every time I click into it. cj_eds said more than most on his profile, so I thought it worth posting here as not everyone will go looking. Hope no-one minds :?

As said by ZermattV, a proper petrol head. I'm glad to have 'known' him even just a little on here, and my thoughts are with his family who I hope feel some comfort from this thread if they ever look in.
 
Only knew him from on here. His name stuck with me because I remember noting that he was a fellow Scot. Terribly sad news.
 
Didn't know him but exchanged a few helpful thread responses during the past 3 years. Thoughts are with his family at this time.

This sort of thing really does make you think about life and getting the absolute most out of it.
 
As with many others I knew him only through his posts but he seemed a really decent bloke and one I wish I could have met in person. Very sad news. My thoughts are with his family.
