Have people got any pics of him from happier times to put up as a kind of forum tribute. On another thread maybe?

Hope people think this is a nice idea, we did something similar when a friend died.

good idea

Swiped off Facebook - only found pictures of his car so far.

Really shocked at hearing the news, I had the pleasure of meeting Carl last year. My condolences go out to Nicola and his family at this sad time.

RIP cj_eds :(

Far too soon to be taken away, rest in peace Carl.

Nicola (Carl's wife) logged on yesterday to PM me - I hate to think what she's going through, and despite never meeting her she took the time to send me a message with the news. Carl was a really good guy and hid his illness well. He'll be missed from the Scottish runs where he was a regular. Well, he was at the start of runs but often had to head off before the end (his signature move).

I feel appalling that I have plenty of photos of Carl's Z4 but no decent ones of him to share...

(that's Carl third from the left, black hair and glasses)

Terribly sad news. I hate to hear of anyone passing at such a young age. My sincere condolences to his family.

I'm lost for words... Just sad news.

Condolences to those he left behind.
