I gave the Z a good wash last weekend and noticed that on a couple of the panels the paint felt quite rough. Also the black plastic on the scuttle and wheel arch trim had grey'd in colour
So today (in between showers) I gave the car a good wash down, then dug out the claybar and gave the car a once over, more so concentrating on the rough areas. To my surprise it only took a couple of passes for the claybar to take out the contamination leaving a smooth finish. I then washed the car down, then applied wax. I was going to apply some glaze then wax but the rain moved in. Finally finished off with some Back to Black on the scuttle and wheel arch covers
If anyone else has rough paintwork I cannot recommend using claybar enough
