Rough idea of Z4 prices these days

This thing about colours and the recent poll, I have to say you are all wrong! The best colour is Sapphire black judging by how many black ones are out there :poke: :fuelfire:  especially when I was looking for mine, every other one seem to be black! I wonder if there any stats of how many Z4s of each colour were sold.

Sapphire Black seemed to be very popular on E85/86s but I haven't seen so many E89s that colour - they all seem to be some shade of white!

The two choices I'd avoid - neither is really a colour.

True white is very popular too, there were plenty of black white and the deep sea blue ones when I was looking. Black and white not being colours now that's debateable. I would say silver isn't really a colour too, always seems pretty washed out neither here nor there

I now own a VERY blue and a VERY red BMW as of today. Now those are both 'proper' colours!

Melbourne Red is mighty fine and Estoril Blue is lovely (if you can look past all the feckin water). :D

I've seen some for the rarer colours on another forum, I'll see if I can find it again.

All I remember is 264 VO 35is were made.

There’s a reason for that Colonel Custard.

Interesting, is the plaque genuine? looks like a random plate stuck on somewhere where it shoudn't be.

Hence why they are the best, since everyone bought one in that colour  I wonder how many AY for all Z4 variations.

Both fantastic colours, I've had Melbourne red and it's stunning and always admired Estoril blue since it came out on the E36s.

Thats quite funny, do you class grey as a colour :poke:

1,294 AY in all E89 variants..out of 17 colours quite a low count….not sure what the totals were for each of the 17 colours..

Didn't realise there were that many colour options for the E89.

Maybe surprisingly I don't tend to think of any shade of grey/silver as being a colour either, but when buying used cars you can't always choose the colour. So I've ended up with a Sparkling Graphite 330i and a Silver Grey MC.

Colour wise I much preferred the Imola Red 325ti I had with my Montego Blue 3.0Si, but car wise I prefer the silver/grey non-colour ones. :)

So if you scratch off all the black, white, grey, silver and brown non-colours it doesn’t leave many 🙄

Was it not a M3 colour back in the '90s? I seem to remember someone having an EB M3 'Evo' cab which I thought was quite the thing, even though I could never have afforded one then.

We used to have pink custard at primary school. Tasted the same, just food colouring.

I always liked custard until very recently....I don't know why I have gone off it! :)

That made go 250 miles to get mine
So you went 250 miles for a photo-shopped car colour?
That photo has been 'doctored', unless it was a factory reject! :poke:

What colour is that, haven’t ever heard of it and to my knowledge seen one?
