Roof noise

Sorry, mines doing it when putting the roof up, opening goes fine. But that should be easy to fix?

Have a read of that to see why I'm fuming about this.

Looks an easy fix carol if the alarm module can be jiggled further down and the trim reaffixed at the top, otherwise it will have to come out and be repositioned somewhere else. Looks to be only catching slightly so I would have a fettle.

That sucks, it's a pain to find a good dealer these days :( Good customer service and people dedicated to their job seems to be hard to find

Back to dealer again Carol as that's bloody shocking

I think I would be inclined to keep well away from the dealer for want of more damage :( or try a dealer who knows what theyre doing.

On that one Carol, you're going to have to take it up with the company that fitted the parking sensors via the dealer.

Sorry to hear what a PITA this has turned into. It's a shame your colour is so rare, you could offer them the chance to swap your car with a similar age/specced one that actually includes the PDC.

There is no way BMW would swap the car as its a cosmetic problem as much as anything and with teething problems from what I remember with the sensors working, in all honesty I would be pushing for replacement bumpers back to standard unless they can fit the correct OEM bumpers and sensors.

All this over the lack of Hill Start Assist

Wished I had specced front and rear parking sensors but just live with it now.

It just goes from bad to worse doesn't it? Technically this is the parking sensor fitters but you would think it would've been tested first. I can fix it probably it but it's just the icing on the cake of their cowboyishness.

Hope its all sorted Carol, I do think the dealer is as much to blame, they should at least ensure the job is done to 100% satisfaction :(

Tim.

On the plus side....at least you've now found a reason for it.

On the minus side....!?!?!$$$@@@@????? 'kin dealer scum!

edit: just seen the video. I guess theres no way they can fail to see that.

That is truly appalling , Sadly Im guessing the whole new car exprience has been shot to pieces now , I really do feel for you

What a bunch of total f*ckwits. Carol, you must be tearing your hair out over this lot... appalling. If you don't get any joy soon, give us all a shout. We'll raise an angry mob of forumites!

Well pass me that feather so I can knock myself down....

*thud*

I'm getting a brand new car!!! DP along with BMW have come up trumps and done the right thing for a change! :happyclap:
