roof motor cambridgeshire

Considering this as preventative maintenance, I shudder every time I was my roof that i'm soaking the motor. I'm in Bedfordshire, so about 45mins from Peterborough.

Before I decide, is there any room left or have all slots been filled?

My only concerns are would this have to be declared to insurance as a mod? And is the motor/pump protected well enough from any objects that may roll around in the boot.

I'm sure we can squeeze one more in - and no, it doesn't need declaring to the insurance. The motor is above boot floor level, in a little cubby, covered by a trim piece. I regularly have my boot full of stock for the shops and it's not been a problem.

Thanks for offering to accommodate me in this, but I've decided to give it a miss this time round.

Just had to shell out for 4 new tyres, springs all round, new brake pipes & MOT.

It's gotta go back in on Saturday for more work, next I need to get alignment done followed by refurbing my alloys as some paint flaked off when the tyres were changed. Also been on a spending spree online on new genuine wheel centre caps, replacement boot carpet, & new stereo facia.

There's only so much I can launder past my better half in 1 month! I'll probably regret this when my roof motor packs up next month!

Anyone want cruise installing while we're there?

I can also do LED installs and take out the bulb errors. Sidelights, reverse, brake and indicator.
 
That sounds interesting :D I've got a CC stalk, wiring and the correct lower steering cowl but up until now I've been too nervous to tackle it :(
I've also got a spare lower cowl if anyone wants it to practice cutting out the hole to accept the CC stalk :)
 
Steve I have a 54 plate pre face lift. Is it possible to code the 3x flash pass for the indicators?
 
ive not been online much lately so im late to the party.... is there still time/room for me?

i live just down the road near Norwich so a little trip could be arranged and would be good to meet some other Z friends :D
