roof motor cambridgeshire

Your going to need a full body massage after doing 10 of those in a day Mike. Two or three in a day and I feel like I'm 10 years older :D

And BAM makes 8.

1. jnwright71
2. Rusky
3. Rob_benton
4. Crazy Harry
5. Natheynath1970
6. Usel
7. Davros
8. BAM

Just 2 spaces now left.

This is probably going to sound like a really stupid question but do I need to remove the motor, only I thought removing and refitting the hood was a 2 hour job in itself?

No, I do this job without removing any of the roof.

Mike

Still two places left - anyone else interested ?

To everyone on the list, I will PM you tonight with address details, timings etc

Hi
I would like to add my name to the roof repair project in Peterborough, I think makes me No.9 out of the maximum 10. Roof does still operate but the latch down in the open position does not work, sometimes this results in the red indicator light above the roof open button flashing, but not always. Mike is this something you can fix as part of the roof motor move/overhaul?

Yes, a lot of the time the hall sensor on the ns ram has moved, meaning the roof doesn't retract fully and therefore the latch does not extend to lock the roof down.

Mike

Hi MIke

Thanks for the quick response and look forward to seeing you and the other Z4 owners in Peterborough in a couple of weeks time.

I saw in earlier post that Davros has paid a deposit, will I be getting a pm to facilitate this?

I'm also happy to do some coding if anyone wants things done.

Good point. I'll have my Carly with me, buy I'll also put the Toughbook and Bcables interface in the boot, so that others can "play" whilst i work lol.

Mike

Deposit just transferred Mike, if you can work your magic I'll finally have the roof down again on the way back home on the 13th whatever the weather!
