Roof Down Aggressiveness?

Never really recieved any abuse.. but I once had a golf in front of me slow right down to like 5mph then put his washers on and sped off. (On a hot day when I had roof down...) :?
 
white transit drivers seem to target me, tailgating and then trying to beat me away at the traffic lights.

i did have a guy in a car park the other day just stop an stare as i backed my white E89 out of a parking space (roof down). he came over and heaped compliments on me and my car!
 
I've had three different people signal to me (in a good way!) whilst driving and mouth lovely car mate or gorgeous car.... (about my Exige) - don't have the z4m yet ;0)

At least that's what I think they were saying! :0)
 
I've had a fair bit of abuse in the Z4 with roof down, then again it is white, and therefore allegedly a "posers" choice of colour and i'm also a young looking 32 year old. I've had some bloke mutter "tosser" under his breath at the petrol pumps as he jumped into his Volvo XC90, another mum call me a tosser as i was parked up in a traffic jam, plus various other comments. I dont think people realise just how much you can hear them when you have the roof down though- because i've also heard some pretty nice comments too!!

I'm a fairly slowish driver, anyone who tries to tail gate me can just overtake, i wont take the bait.
 
I can't hear anyone, my 14 speakers and 2 subwoofers drown them out! I ignore them like a minger on the dance floor! Drives them crazy like a fat chick being offered a date at an all you can eat Buffet...

Well I seem to have picked up a racing buddy most mornings this week in the form of a 12 plate black SEAT Cupra (I think) anyways whatever it is its hilarious. First morning we both overtook a tractor I was in front of him and as I was pulling back in the prat pulled in sooner than me gunning it and tried to undertake me as I was pulling back in and I nearly side swiped him, was very dangerous driving on his part and must have cut the tractor up to have pulled back in so soon, he then pulled straight out and overtook. Next morning we pulled up at a set of lights on a dual carriageway, recognised the car and he was on the outside and he did a full throttle start spinning the wheels and shot off. Yesterday morning he flew past me again doing a good 60 to 70 in a 40 zone. I just hope carries on as I going to delight when his engine lets go in a shower of crank case and bolts :D

Me I'm just pootling along, far too early at 7am for those sorts of games.

I would take his reg. number and report him to the cops...he could kill someone driving like that, I've done it several times, cops normally just give a caution as I never really wanted to go to court as a witness.
The caution could just do the trick and make him realise he's been spotted driving like a twat ! :x
 
I used to have a regular run in with an Astra van on my daily commute. I figured he was going to kill himself or/and someone else eventually

I may do this if he carries on, I'm guessing its a company car but I just don't get why some people drive so aggressively, whats the point? and what does it prove?

I had that a couple of times when I had the Roadster. Why do they do that? They are so stupid!! :rofl:
 
I wonder if this is dependent upon the part of the country you are in, and the relative number of drop tops around ? There are loads down by me in Kent, and I haven't had any abuse...
