Stick your finger in the exit end of the drain, it may be blocked with dead cats
I think mike (ducklakeview) might be your closest roof man?

and.. does anybody know who can fit a new roof at not silly prices ??
I can change a whole roof (inc Frame) in a few hours, but if you want to just change the fabric, there was a mobile guy that Si-Forks used and was impressed with. And at a reasonable price I think (maybe £300)

So that's a new roof fabric fit and supply?

so.. who makes new soft tops, or can repair my buggered side seals, bearing in mind i still have fag damage on the top of the roof

I guess it's now my Zed-sent mission to reply to every roof related thread :D

Replaced mine DIY - got it from Autotops/Sierra. through ebay shipped from the US with our weak-ass AUD. Should be much more affordable for you guys with the Pound. This is the one I got though in retrospect, should've splashed out a bit more for the uprated material. Not that I've noticed any difference, but ... well might as well! You can check my thread for some pics of the top's quality if interested and a short discussion regarding the window fitting/finish.

Regarding the side seals, are you referring to the seals on the corners from Page 1? If it's those, yours don't actually appear (from that pic) to be damaged. They are definitely extremely fiddly to sit right because they need to slot into the softtop's weather strip end to end, while also be seated into the bit inside the panel. I spent a good portion of time getting mine to be right and it's still not perfect. Multiple times, first when I was vinyl wrapping, second when I did the soft top!

Could be worth just pulling them out and trying to put them back in proper before trying to source new ones!

Thank you Tom, that's very interesting about the side seals. Damn typical your not here to take a look for me :( without taking the roof off how would I know the seal is OK and not split or buggered?

You can take it off with just the roof put down. Can you take a few more pics of it with the roof down? Especially the inboard side to check for any damage.

I should mention though that when I said "remove" i meant just pull it up along where the soft top is, but you should be able to keep the side attached inside the door jam where it is.

If you are planning on replacing the soft top, you need to pull this seal up regardless in order to tuck the rear weatherstrip into it.

From this diagram, A needs to be slotted INSIDE/UNDER the top of B - hence the excess turning upwards you have at the moment as they should be overlapping. You can maybe just try pulling B up a little (not off) and you will see that they have bits inside that need to slide and be slid into. Hard to explain (and I don't fully grasp it myself!) but things do eventually fit.

It will also help to mix up some mild soapy water to spray the insides so they slide in easier (DEFINITELY do this as well when fitting any of the seals you remove especially the rear one). We spent nearly an hour trying to force the rear seal back on properly and struggled. Then I remembered about soapy water and it took.. all but 2 minutes

Wow, that seems exactly what my problem is. I will take some more pics today for you, thanks, talk about hands across the sea....
