It’s all heading In the right direction at the moment
BP good Sats at 96 % (80% when ambulance brought me in)
Still being pumped with syringes of anti biotics so whilst feeling much improved I think another night in dock at least - then home for r&r

I’m sure mrs Ronk won’t mind spoiling you at home for a while, or at least a couple of hours :P
Rob

Christmas plans although muted before have been further de tuned - we see our two Granddaughters on Christmas morning and then a feet up day,
Christmas dinner will be something in red wine sauce!

Good to hear.

Make sure it’s heavy on the red wine washed down with lots of sparkly stuff, all repeats on the box all day so a good feed and drink followed by a nap may be just what the doctor ordered. May even road test that plan myself.

Enjoy! You deserve it

Get well soon Ron. You’re one of the few that truly appreciates the aesthetic beauty of the Frozen Orange Metallic of the First Editions so good to know you’re doing okay.

So more time on the G29 configurator
Glad you’re on the mend

Just waiting of patient transport and homeward bound !

An unwanted saga comes to a happy end - apparently it is up to six weeks for a full recovery - not going to rush it. I don’t want to come here again even tho all treatment and including hospital food was excellent 👍

Great to read your on your way home Ronk. I heard Mrs Ronk told the hospital to get you home to wait on her over Christmas.

Loafing around the house for six weeks, having your meals cooked, your glass topped up regularly and your every whim catered for. Mrs Ronk is soooo looking forward to it I bet

Great news

Great news.

Now you just need to have a great Christmas and make a full recovery so you can keep playing!

Pleased to hear things are getting better. My last unscheduled hospital visit was the thing that made my mind up to buy my current Z4. Maybe yours is a good excuse for a new one?

I am home and feel much more at ease with myself - almost human again.

I still feel like Ive been dragger thro a hedge backwards, I wheeze all day and night cough up some nasties.
Apparently this and lethargy / weakness can last for six weeks they told me.

I have to continue with a high dose of massive Anti Biotic tablets for another week but that's a small price to pay.

My diagnosis was "Bi Lateral Bacterial Pneumonia" They cannot tell me how I got it. All I had was a cold. It must have been bad when a Hot Toddy each night didn't fix it!

Warning shots are sometimes exacactly what is needed (Ref Colin_E) At the moment Im getting myself pulled together and who knows what will happen? There are aa few of us on here that have had warning shots and I think most of us think along those lines. No reasons to disagree with the sentiment!

However. and fortunately I seem to be recovering now and want to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their good wishes - They meant a lot to me and especially so when I was in a low state, unwell and feeling like death warmed up!

Sincerely, thank you all
