Got to say that I’m bowled over with all the well wishes.
It’s not until a fella is Krank that you realise what a few simple kind words matter
Apparently I have a bi lateral bacterial lung infection and in a specific respiratory ward - being dropped with bags of gunk and injected by syringed , CT Scans and an mot every few hours- the hospital care has been nothing short of outstanding.

Seems I will be CB another two day then allowed home for R&R

It’s not going to be a busy Christmas celebration but a celebration it will be albeit from my own armchair.

I feel so relieved that It is responding to treatment.

At my age I consider myself fortunate that I have only ever been to hospital for Elective surgery and never brought in by ambulance.

The two paramedics were outstanding and very re assuring. I was worried incase they thought I was a fraud but they promptly corrected me .

All In all this has been a very strange experience and I’m only starting to piece it all together now
