I don't know who this Marius bloke is and I get the impression he isn't very well liked so how dare you tar Arthur Daley with the same brush :D

Any bets on how long it takes the purchaser to realise they've been sprayed and decide to return them for being 'not as described'?

Might be a few Fs and Cs flying about in that email exchange... :fuelfire:
 
Description too vague though, it says they are black - they look black. Does not say they were originally black ...

Good to know I can turn a profit on the ones I got though (new) :D

It says that they're 'used but in perfect condition' - I don't know about you but I wouldn't consider something that had been resprayed as 'in perfect condition', to me that means that they should be as new

I would agree with you as they should be near perfect and would be my expectation

Hi all i admit it was me that won the side roof covers.

Ok and i know i may have paid a little over the odds but BMW doesn't seem to list any on there site of any colour.

So and i read with interest the mixed discussion above but ebay is ebay and if they are as rare as the rocking horse stuff then who am i to complain. But and i say but i haven't recieved them yet so will update you all on what comes to my door.

Anyway regardless of what colour they were before if they are rare then if in the future someone wants them and have a different colour car they will have to re-coat them to match.

However if they crack as suggested i will repair and recoat with plasticoat which i have a can of as am going to redo the steering wheel trims.

Owwwww! Now you've gone and spoilt all our fun by being all sensible'n'stuff :P

You've taken a very pragmatic approach, not sure if I'd be a sanguine as you but good luck with them - you're a better buyer than Marius deserves :thumbsup:
