Evening all,

No that I'm firmly in the "I'm keeping it" mind set, I'm giving thoughts to reverting back to 224's. What's your thoughts?

Would have to buy a set of these

They're mine now Dave ;)

Sorry, had to..

Anyway, I think you're going down the wrong route, a) yours looked bloody immense on the M3 wheels, and b) if you're going to do anything on a coupe,it should be CSL's, they just work perfectly.

I love standard, or OEM+ Lee, but having seen Dave's car in person, it looks sublime. So so clean.

I should add that they are factory finish - all diamond cut so nice and shiny.

So the question comes about as - of the two people that asked about the car when looking to sell, both asked if I had the standard wheels.

& that,s my issue with them , they don,t make the car out as a M
just like i wouldn,t want an M3 with 224,s on

They are a lovely rim...a little bit of a challenge to keep mint but worth it in the long run. :D ... I think you have convinced me to change my mind! :)

It,s a resounding  on the 224 idea , car looks way way better on them imo

I guess you have a set for sale, or very soon

IMO the M3 wheels or CSL's look better than the 224's

I wish i had 4 or 5 sets by the number of PM,s i get asking for them

Aeros and CSLs ... Any owner's nightmare picture when they don't own any of the mentioned themselves. Haha. Great pics.

Yeah thanks for that lol - fantastic looking wagon! 8)

Can't stretch to CSL's at the mo with the new house and all, besides I did strongly consider CSL's (looked at several sets) but ended up going for these to be a little different rather than walking the same path as many others. In any event, doesn't that defeat the object of it looking standard? As commented above if M3's do not an 'M' make, surely the same should be said about CSL's? :poke: Unless being standard isn't the issue, in which case it just brings us back to personal prefferance.

So perhaps the question shod have read standard wheels or aftermarket (of no particular flavour).
