Picking her up tomorrow from Plymouth :yeah:

Looks a beaut, fantastic looking cars the Z3, proper roadster looks.

Hope it stays dry for you.

I believe it is meant to be a 96% chance of rain :(

Yes unfortunately, a shame to have to drive home top up after all the nice weather we've had in a new to you roadster, you never know, you might get lucky.

So we have returned from the 475 mile trip and here she is!

Not too shabby for 102k miles and 17 years old!

Looks in great condition for a 17 yr old motor. Bodywork looks very clean and straight. Love that interior - has a classic feel about it I bet

A two seater soft top should counteract the 'UP' I bet.

Looks tidy and a nice colour combo. I'm sure part of the enjoyment process will be giving it a deep clean to bring it back to life. I really do like the interior against the blue. What are your plans for it? Leave it exactly as is? I see it has MV2's so someone has felt the urge to amend previously!

What about a nice set of style 42's 32's, 71's or the more modern 78's.
Some clear and red rear lights?

Look forward to seeing more of this one!

I will be making absolutely 0 modifications to the aforementioned vehicle because it is a waste of money and I always sell the car.

Hypothetically speaking if I were to change the car it would be changes that keep it looking as OEM as possible, stereo uprated, bushes, strut brace.

Ruby can see this thread

Indeed :driving:
Though I got the bike out again today, Z3 felt quick because I hadn't been on two wheels for a while, but now it is slow again!
Hows the blue beast?

Better....(albeit with a cigarette burn on the boot lid now - :o )
It ate up the miles on the road trip back in July and is now sporting an RS5 boot spoiler.

I quite like it, I don't love it. I still miss my Z4. :)

Aye I regret selling the Z4 for mine lol. Guess maybe that's why I decided a Z3 would be fun (plus they look cool)
RS5 spoiler =
How'd the burn come about?

I thought it was bird poo, there was a mark and some gritty stuff on the boot lid. Turns out it was clearly a flicked cigarette from somewhere, which has burnt through the lacquer. Detailer couldn't remove it with the DA polisher so it looks like a respray. It's on the plastic section as part of the roof folding piece so hopefully not too horrendous!
