Having lived with a pair of quite boring Ups for a while now I put a deposit on a replacement for mine yesterday to give Ruby and I something more fun to drive again...

...It is a 1999 2.8 Z3, facelift version with the M52TUB28 twin VANOS engine, 101k miles on the clock :)

Can we tag along to meets again now :D?

looks lovely- if you were to recolour the roof a burgundy one would go well with that interior. :driving:

Knew it wouldn't be long....

Can't you give them a kick and say you really need it in time for Sunday's run....? :driving:

She's the boss of course :D This was an approved purchase!

First job on the list I think is cleaning the interior, recommendations on leather cleaning?

The BMW leather cleaner kit is pretty good- I used to use supaguard but found the BMW one left more of a Matt finish. I was chatting to your uncle at Zfest- his Z1 is stunning!

I've not seen his Z1 yet... he has a Z8 due to arrive from the US shortly also!

I shall look into the cleaning kit, need to see what is online detailing wise for leather to. As I have a feeling the BMW kit will be at BMW prices :D

I don't even know what mods you can do for the Z3 yet... maybe a stubby to start if that is an option :D

Very nice - I love that interior. Saw a lot of Z3's at Zedfest and never having seem one up close I really liked them. The interiors have that wonderful retro look and feel

And it appears to have a dash-mounted sextant - which will probably work better than the nav in the Z4....

One of the immaculate Z3 interiors from Zedfest:

Happy times :) the Mv2s really suit & give the 3 a fresher look ( spacers on the rear would enhance the stance 8) )
Welcome back to Zedding
