I live near Chelmsford in Essex and am looking for a mechanic/garage/competent member to oversea a seat swap retrofit. Happy to agree a reasonable sum (cash) for the work.
I have a set of Msport heated fully electric seats (including lumbar) to swap out my old standard electric memory ones non heated. I have the new centre console switch and Dave (AnubisZed) has been most helpful with further info and wiring diagrams for the project. I have sounded out my usual mechanic and whilst a BMW independent he seems reluctant to take on the project and foresees too many problems, however my research on here suggests this is doable and with that and Dave's input already hopefully somebody more comptetent than me should be able to get this done in a day.
Does anyone have somebody that is close to the Essex area they could recommend that has experience of this sort of thing?
