Hi all,

So I managed to get hold of an indicator stalk (thanks again Barry).

Ive reviewed some YouTube videos and read some forums before doing it as some point in the future, but are there are by pieces of advice people would give while doing this?

Thanks!

If take the steering wheel off be sure to disconnect the battery for 15 mins before hand to avoid airbag code

Yup, noted!
My main concern is related to messing with the steering wheel position.
I've heard that the 'neutral' position can sometimes get messed up.

Not really.
Set it straight ahead and once the wheel is off you won't find it easy to move the column anyway.
The column has a master spline and both that and the wheel are marked with an indentation, so you can't really put it back on wrong.

I'm not sure you need the wheel off anyway.
If you remove the column shroud it should be straightforward to remove the switch.

OK, I think you probably do need the wheel off for access.
You need to remove the two mounting screws that pass through the switch.
Once they are removed, then simply press in the two tabs and slide the switch unit out backwards.

Amazing. Thanks for the advice mate! Also really appreciated that monologue you were having with yourself :D

Oddly the indicators are now working again.. No faster indicating and light out light on dash is gone. Very odd electrical gremlin this.
