Replaced Stereo - no FM radio reception

I've replaced the factory stereo with a Blaupunkt unit. The sound quality is night and day, but I get no radio signal.

When I stick the OEM radio back in, radio reception is perfect. This rules out a problem with the antenna.

I've replaced the adapter that takes the Fakra connection and changes it to DIN, and borrowed a known good cable so I'm pretty sure it's not a cable problem.

I've stuck in a Pioneer unit from another car where the radio reception in perfect - same issue. So that rules out a faulty stereo.

So what now..... I must be doing something wrong. Does anyone have any ideas?

I do wonder if the OEM radio provide power through the Fakra connection to the antenna. (I imagine I could compare using a simple volt meter and see what the difference is).

(I could stick a DAB antenna on the windscreen but this feels like a cop out, and doesnt really give me what I want).

Any help, thought or guidance would be gratefully received.

So what is not working?

FM reception , DAB reception AM reception ?

Theres no FM radio reception. I haven’t tried AM and have no DAB antenna.

When searching for stations on the stereo, no stations are found. When manually seeking frequencies I can hear the stations in the background of the noise.

There's a DC feed from the OE head unit to the diversity box that integrates all the FM aerials

13 E Aerial switching signal Aerial amplifier or aerial diversity 0.5 Wht

Looks like I need to make sure PIN13 is supplying a 12v feed.

Will rummage tomorrow
