2004 E85 Airbag Module Replaced/Programmed new codes

Ok what’s the issue and do you know the part number of the module? Left or right?

it's the left door pillar got a second hand replacment can find any one to programe it and not even sure it's the right one as now when i scan the car it showing an open circuit on the knee bag

Could be your problem then. You can’t just fit any old one. Has to be a part number compatible with your original.
Go to www.realoem.com and enter the last seven of your VIN (two letters and five numbers). Then look for the airbag modules and it will show the number of your car’s originals. Click on the left one (SBSL) and it will give all the exchangeable alternatives.
If the corrosion was that bad you may also have damage in the plug.
Come back with the part number, plus the number of the one you fitted.

Can I clarify, for your serial number specifically, it came up with 6953039?
That shows as a light switch unit??

Assuming yours is in the batch with 4366 then the one you have is not compatible!

There is a '0299' that would match the '4366' batch, but i'm pretty sure '2099' is an E60 one. Looks the same but won't work. They usually come with captive nuts fitted.

I should make it clear upfront that due to a few bad experiences with people bricking them and claiming they were duds, I no longer post them out unless it is clearly without any form of warranty or return.
Sounds harsh but I have had three now that have tried that on.
I only do a supply, fit and code service. Usually i make sure i have at least two just in case there is a dud. If I can't fix it then I have at least proved to myself it is a dud unit and I don't charge a penny.

If it helps, I also have a few sections of loom with plugs on, just in case yours is internally corroded.
