Evening all, does anyone have a ‘link/how to’ on removing the washer fluid reservoir?

Guessing if there in a the same place on all E89’s but mine’s the 30i just in case they’re different.

I've removed them to clean up clogged pump filters on an E46 and E86, but that's easy as they are in the engine bay. :)

A quick look on realoem suggests E89s have them inside the driver's side front wing behind the wheel-arch liner like my E90 does. The location of the filler cap should give you a clue, or follow the path of the washer pipes.

And it it's in the wing good luck.

Yes this one is in the engine bay, as pictured, I’ll have a proper look this morning to see if fixings are obvious

I did this the other week to clean a blocked filter and found it to be pretty straightforward.
Here's a link to the newtis.info.

If you don't/can't get access let me know and I'll upload screenshots.

Thanks, but all I get from that link is ‘site closed’… if you could load a couple of screenshots that would be brilliant, thank you

Screenshots below in order of removal. For info, I managed to remove the pumps from the tank without disconnecting the hoses.

I removed mine a few weeks ago to clear out the filter and did it without the benefit of the above guide - all quite simple really, something I reckon most should be capable of.
