Removing dash strip

I can't find a guide about removing the dash strip. Anyone give me any pointers?? I'm thinking of having it wrapped in leather or something

The bit around the light switch is levered off using something like a credit card.

Th longer part requires you to remove the centre air vent, radio, and remove the four screws holing it on. The other end you need to remove the air vent and remove the spring clip that retains the trim.

Centre console section requires removel of rear bulhead centre panel then the centre console tunnel panel. You can then remove the trim from underneath by removing the 30 yes 30 secrews that hold it on.

The 2.0 Edition Sports had 2 tone leather as standard.

I haven't even thought where to get the trimming done, just wondered how easy it was to remove it. I may even justgo with a carbon look wrap as it would certainly be cheaper. Just want them black as the aluminium really doesn't go with my new seats. Will definately post pics once I've got round to it. 8)

I have some carbon fibre fabric to do the door handles, I can send you a sample if it helps.

you can get a carbon fibre twill cloth from ebay for about £11 for .25sqm
