Remove marks on paint after debadging

I decided to remove the Z4 badge on the boot of my car but it has left a dark shadow effect on the paint which means you can still see an outline of where the badge was. Any suggestions of what I should use to get ride of this?? Simple car shampoo has not done the trick...

Damn.. was hoping there would be a quick fix. Guess i'll be off the Halfords tomorrow to buy some clay and polish...

I used Goo Gone http://www.magicamerican.com/googone/product/c7f8659a-40a3-412c-9f1c-03108e6a30db.aspx Just keep applying and dont press too hard.

dont use Autoglym paint restorer, its rubbish!
