Looking through my old photos I came across this - think I may have shown it before - just reminded me there are some things I regret doing - like selling this car :(
Love my zed but there's something about a Lotus and a red one :D

Don't regret marrying my lovely wife though  ( even with those strange feet showing )

I'l join you in your regret mr g :( would happily buy it back tomorrow for the £13,000 i sold it for :headbang:

Two lovely cars , I don't think Mr Wilks wants to know what the 964 is now worth . But we've all done it over a car or a house

No cars I'd like back, never owned anything fancy previously. If I had a regret it would be (as much as I loved the e85 and now e89) ever buying BMW. It's been the most stressful ownership experience of any brand I've ever owned.

How much would it be worth now Andy?

There are Targa 964s & convertible 964s that look decent examples around £14k but they wouldn't work for me
£18k would seem to be the figure to get back to where i was & then i can't help think that's almost 997 money :? totally different cars i accept but i think i could love one
The flat 6 noise whether watercooled or aircooled is always a treat to hear :driving:

You must have been especially unlucky , had about 10 BMWs & apart from 645Ci they have all behaved mechanically & never had cause to disappoint .
Have they been that bad you would not buy BMW again Gary ?

Let's just say I wouldn't ever have a BMW without a warranty.

Something I'd never even considered with any other car ive ever owned.

I have 2 which I regret selling, my 240Z, which I bought when I was 17, sold and bought back again, and my 911, I got £6750 for the 240Z in 2000 and £13K for the 911 in 2010 very cheap money for both cars IMO

I can understand what you're saying Maniac given your history of problems - I've had my E85 for nearly 2 years - only money spent so far is £140 on a new master brake sensor ( usual DSC warning light ) but then I've only done 500 odd miles in my ownership

I've always been anxious about selling a car but this is the one I really regret selling. Toytoa Supra 3.0 Twin turbo.

Ever since chopping in my old Brabus, I've missed it for being a fun, boosted, chuckable car.

But I couldn't justify the poor reliability and hence a replacement was sourced.

Is it just me? :? Or does it look like in the picture of the Elan, either:

1. You have sawn your wife in half in some Lotus based magic trick

or

2. There is a small child with adult feet standing infront of your wife :D

Lovlely Brabus, what sort of problems??

Thank you. Driveshafts wouldn't stay in.

Little disappointing as I only had the car for 15 months before it was chopped in for my Z4.
