I have a pair of Imola red leather recaro pole position seats.


These are now surplus to requirements as i am reverting my car back to standard.

2 x Recaro Pole Positions - FIA Spec
• Genuine Imola Red Leather via Bespoke Leathering
• Recaro re-stitched in white by Recaro

2 x Recaro Side Mounts
• Black with White Recaro

2 x Recaro Sliders
• Slide and Lock

2 x VAC Motorsport Mounts

They fit straight into a z4M

We flew back from Europe only a month ago and I had two rear springs for my Zed and some LED headlights for my Lotus in my hand luggage. I would have struggled to carry these as well!

Thanks Ed - much though I’d love them, getting them to Sydney and paying GST / duty etc make these an extremely expensive prospect. I doubt I’d see much change from $7k, which is about one third of a supercharger…

I got a pair of PP ABE from CA Automotive back in the day, but they're no longer in business.

The price has gone up somewhat (mine were c.£700 each in 2018, now over £1000 each) but Demon Tweeks, Capital Seating and GSM still do them (and a range of others).

Thanks @mmm-five for the response. Yep, I will be getting Recaro Pole Position ABE Bucket Seat - Ambla Leather Black/Dinamica Suede Red if either of them has it in stock. I am more so unsure on the fittings and fixtures that I need to get as the combination of floor mount, side mount, and sliders seems to be a lot. I was hoping to get links to the exact products that were used, so I know I don't have to go back and forth trying out different combinations of products to see what works or not.

Also, did you have to get a seat belt receptacle adaptor and spacer in addition?

I just used the original seat belt receptacle and explosive tube...just affixed them to the same place on the PPs.

I bought mostly Recaro bits, so that I knew they'd fit...and got Macht Schnell floor plates as they seemed the most adaptable...but I know PSDesigns offered floor mounts too.

If you want the seat a bit lower, you'll either have to get thinner floor mounts, remove the slider, or bolt directly to the floor.

My order list was this:

• 2 x Recaro Pole Position ABE seats (black ambla and silver dynamica) - £1440
• 2 x Recaro side mount sets - £220
• 2 x Recaro seat sliders - £150
• 2 x Macht Schnell floor mounts - £370
• 2 x Macht Schnell Hybrid seat belt brackets - £216 (not needed if you're only going to run the 3-point belt)

Unfortunately they don't seem to have any compatible floor mounts.

Outside of these items, anything else you got? Specially for the electronic side i.e. airbag. Apparently recaro has an airbag sensor.
