Rear tyres

I do about 4-5k a year but since we have very bad roads with little grip I doubt they will wear out so far. Over here you usually have to throw tyres away not because they're worn out but because they get old and hard! I'm really looking forward to trying them out :evil:

From what I read the ado8r are better than the 888. They should also be better in the wet. Are you buying a set of apex wheels beedub? I saw you asked about a set on zpost. I ally like the satin black ones but the ones I liked apparently don't fit with the v3 springs

ive got a few sets of wheels in storage at the moment, the car currently sits on CSLs, i have a track set that havent been used in a while, im going to clean them up and put them on, they are very agressive but work due to my extreme alignments.... are the ad08R a full 8mm T/D tyre or 5mm like the mpsCups/t888?

R888 are in my experience a fantastic tyre. Had them for years on the west fields, but a few tips for you if using them on track.
1) even in a sub 500Kg car they only really lasted 1 good track day.....cal it 200/300 miles, 2 if you were 9/10ths. the trade off was a smile so wide.
2) if wet on track, put them on backwards.
3) They do not like really low pressures even though that is what your past experience says....this will be personal but as you experiment to find your optimum, try a little higher than you first expected as a start
3) if on road, the westies chewed through a set in about 1500 miles. so not cheap.
4) they do not like cold and certainly do not like cold and being stood on concrete over say winter or long periods. take the wheels off.
