Rear springs replaced... now another noise from suspension!

The pinging/rattling sound has gone (as you'd expect), but now there's more of a clonk sound coming from the same area (rear right). After the springs were fitted I drove around the area near the supplying garage just to check it was ok and it all seemed fine. 50 miles later and I was nearly home and off the motorway and now it was clonking over some bumps. Today I retorqued the wheel nuts just to make sure it wasn't that but it's not. I took it out on a test drive and it seems to clonk more when the right hand side is raised in relation to the left (e.g. going over a speed hump with the right side while the left side stays on the normal surface). Due to this I'm suspecting ARB bushes or drop links since this would present itself more when the suspension movement differs from left to right. Does this sound plausible?
I suppose this is a wear and tear item so I'll just take it to my local BMW indy. I'm a bit miffed (it's never nice to have a new purchase go wrong so soon) but at the same time I suppose I'll end up with nicely refreshed suspension that'll hopefully last a long time once it's all fixed.

It is worth mentioning that another recent thread had similar problem and it turned out the spring had been incorrectly fitted
I notice the car came from a company specializing in Porsche worth checking if they fitted them correctly ?

Interesting. Just looking at it through the wheel it looks fine, but I guess it could be seated incorrectly. The ride height looks ok though I think, maybe a tiny bit higher than before but I put that down to new spring vs old, sagged, snapped one. Probably best to take it to someone who knows BMWs better. What is the correct way to seat the spring out of interest?

No idea but the pics on the other thread make it look as if it can easily be done
Best to get a Dealer or BMW Specialist to look at it

Took it to friendly local indy (Harpenden Auto Services in Luton) and took one of their mechanics out round the block. He agreed it was probably ARB related and sure enough when he got it up on the ramps the NSR drop link was in two pieces. They didn't want any cash and said to put the dealer in touch with them regarding getting it sorted. Hopefully they won't insist on my making the 100 mile round trip to fix it, if they do I'll probably just pay for the fix myself (<£100) as time is money and I hate the M25.
